Are You
Sanford Proud?
The Sanford Proud Committee
started over a year ago recognizing property owners on Main Street
that showed pride in their home, business or town property. Sanford
Proud Awards are chosen based on the properties:
Landscape
Maintain Integrity of building
(Architectural or Historical)
Paint
Structure in general good repair
No eye sores on the property
The properties can be chosen
due to a complete renovation or as simple as painting the house,
fence, or consistently mowing the lawn. Show us your pride and you
could be awarded a distinctive plaque to be displayed at the entrance
to your property. The committee will be traveling off the beaten path
of "Main Street" so anyone in the Sanford-Springvale area
has a chance to receive an award this year.
You
can call the Chamber office at 324-4280 with any questions or to
recommend a property for the award.
