Due to the threat of thunderstorms the Sanford Block Party and car show scheduled for Friday night has been canceled. We are considering adding the car show to this years Pumpkin Festival on Sept. 29th at Number One Pond. Stay tuned.
We are bringing back the popular downtown block party to help celebrate Sanford's 250th with food, music, antique/classic cars and more. Downtown Sanford along Main Street will be a showcase of classic & antique cars along with live music, food vendors ( all non-profit), , and all will be free to the public. Everyone likes this Friday evening in downtown Sanford. Beer and wine tent too.
ps if you want to be in the car show you will need to be at the Sanford Junior High School to register between 3:30 and 5Pm when we will parade from there to downtown Sanford. FMI call Rick at the chamber 324-4280 or firstname.lastname@example.org
We expect this event to be a blast. 14 regional brewers each serving 3 variety's of their brew, that's 42 different brews, all at Goodall Park from 2pm - 6pm. Food trucks, kids games, and music with no entrance fee. Only charge is for the brew fest.
Exciting bluegrass, $15 for adults and seniors 18 and under no charge.
To benefit The Maine Children's Cancer Program. Bucket raffle & live auction too. Tasting begins at 5pm. Drawings begin at 6:30. Donations $10 per person suggested.
