DECD released the new checklist for gatherings to correspond to the Governor’s Executive Order from August 1 (EO 6). That order specified that outdoor gatherings are now limited to 100 people. Indoor gatherings remain limited to 50 people.
According to the checklist for indoor events, “Limit the number of people in the space to no more than 5 individuals per 1,000 square feet, up to the gathering size limit as established by the Governor’s current Executive Order.” Again, that gathering size limit is 50.
According to the Executive Order, for outdoor events, “The limit on the number of persons for outdoor gatherings is 5 people per 1,000 sq. ft of occupiable outdoor space or not more than 100 persons whichever is less.”
